Queen Bey…you got us again. Just when we thought Beyoncé reached the peak of her (unofficial) royal status, she went ahead and dropped her new album BEYONCÉ last night—with no advertising or promotion—like it was NBD.

"I didn't want to release my music the way I've done it. I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans," Beyoncé said in a statement. "There's so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn't want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it's ready and from me to my fans."

The entire album is selling for $15.99, exclusively on iTunes—individual songs will be available for sale on December 20, and CDs (yes, they still exist) will hit stores before Christmas—just in time for stocking stuffers.

Need your Beyoncé fix now? Sweat to her classic—and booty-popping—hits ASAP with these must-download tracks from the queen (and friends).
